The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form you need to fill out to get any financial aid from the federal government to help pay for college.
| Parents of students, the student (dependent and independent) and Adult students who need help paying for college should fill out the FAFSA. |
| You can fill out the FAFSA on a computer, mobile device, or via myStudentAid Mobile app. |
| FAFSA is available October 1! It is best to apply, as some financial aid is awarded on first-come, first-served basis. |
| State of Maryland Deadline: March 1st |
| Federal Deadline: June 30th |
| By Completing the FAFSA, you are automatically applying for a Pell Grant (FREE MONEY FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT). |
